<strong>Note:</strong> For Emergency Hospital Services and COVID-19 related services, limits are prorated: up to 6 months = 1/3, 6–9 months = 2/3 of the annual aggregate limit.

3. Deductible

How the deductible works

A deductible is the amount not reimbursed by the insurer and is deducted from the loss amount. The deductible and its specific form are determined by the policy.

4. Validity & Period

Policy duration and financial terms

Insurance is available for any period up to 12 months. The validity and insurance period are indicated in the policy.

No other financial expenses are provided beyond the insurance premium.

5. Exclusions from Coverage

Situations and expenses not reimbursed

  • Cases before the entry into force of the insurance.
  • Treatment in non-licensed facilities, private persons, experimental or non-traditional medicine, self-treatment.
  • Illegal actions, self-harm, suicide attempt, gross negligence, addiction; events under alcohol or drug influence.
  • Costs for diagnosis and treatment of alcoholism or drug addiction and complications.
  • Participation in explosive substance destruction, cave/cavern exploration.
  • Epidemics/pandemics (except COVID-19 if specified), environmental pollution, radiation, natural disasters.
  • Risky professional or amateur sports (mountaineering, skiing, parachuting, etc.).
  • Boarding/disembarking injuries or events while on board.
  • War, hostilities, civil unrest, revolution, terrorist acts.
  • Chronic diseases or pre-trip conditions and complications (except emergency life-saving care up to 7 days).
  • Cardiac surgery, transplantation, endoprosthesis and related costs.
  • Congenital/genetic diseases and complications.
  • HIV/AIDS, chronic hepatitis, diabetes, chronic renal failure, oncology-related costs.
  • Implants (except stent), prosthesis, corrective devices; organ/tissue transplantation.
  • Sending research materials abroad.
  • Exclusive services: non-standard medical services, non-standard wards, hired doctors.
  • Pregnancy/childbirth and complications (except accidental termination of pregnancy).
  • Services received without prior insurer agreement.
  • Services not defined in terms or funded by other programs/insurance.
  • Repatriation for treatment in Georgia, or death due to pre-travel illness or COVID-infection.

6. Notifications & Claims Procedure

How to report an insured event

For any insured event, contact JSC New Vision Insurance Information Service Center: <strong>(+995) 322 501 501</strong>. Present identity document and insurance policy when applying to a provider or non-provider clinic.

  • <strong>24/7 Hotline:</strong> Call (+995) 322 501 501 for guidance.
  • <strong>Ambulance:</strong> Call (+995) 322 501 501 or 112. Provider expenses are paid directly; non-provider expenses are reimbursed upon documentation within 30 days.
  • <strong>Emergency Outpatient Services / Vaccination:</strong> Notify immediately. Non-provider expenses require reimbursement documentation within 30 days.
  • <strong>Emergency Hospital Services:</strong> Notify immediately. Provider clinics bill the insurer directly; non-provider expenses reimbursed with documentation within 30 days.
  • <strong>Emergency Dental Services:</strong> Notify immediately. Non-provider expenses require documentation and dentograph before/after treatment.
  • <strong>Repatriation:</strong> Authorized third party contacts the insurer for organization and submits required documents.
  • <strong>COVID-19 Related Services:</strong> Notify insurer with policy details and medical institution information.

Documents must be submitted within 30 calendar days after the insured event. The insurer may decline late submissions.
